Welcome to CVChackr – your personal AI-powered ATS resume checker. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services ("Services"). By accessing or using CVChackr, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Responsibility

When you create an account on CVChackr, you are responsible for keeping it secure. Please use a strong password. You are liable for any activity that occurs under your account.

CVChackr is meant for individual job seekers only. Recruiters, agencies, or businesses must contact us at support@CVChackr.com to request a business license or partnership.

2. Our Services

CVChackr offers tools to check your resume against ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) standards. We provide:

• Grammar & Formatting Checks
• AI-Powered Suggestions
• Optional Job Description Matching

All AI suggestions are meant to assist, not replace, your own judgment.

3. Use of AI

Our AI helps you enhance your resume based on hiring trends and job descriptions. Here's how we use AI:

• Content Optimization: Suggests stronger wording and highlights missing keywords.
• ATS Guidance: Ensures your resume follows common recruiter software rules.
• Personal Feedback: Tailors suggestions based on your inputs.

You are always responsible for reviewing and approving the final content.

4. Subscription and Billing

We offer free and paid plans with different limits. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle. Prices may change with a 30-day notice on our website or via email.

Downgrading your plan may result in the loss of features or stored data.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your plan anytime via the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing cycle. No refunds will be issued unless there is a verified technical issue from our side.

One-time services (like resume reports) are non-refundable after delivery.

6. Free Trials and Discounts

Trials and promo codes are valid for a limited time. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you may be charged automatically.

Credits earned through referrals are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7. Resume Data and Privacy

By using CVChackr, you agree to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with external AI providers. All uploaded resumes and job descriptions are stored securely and used only to provide you the Services.

8. Institutional Access

If you're using CVChackr through an educational or training institute, you agree that your resume usage and analytics can be accessed by your institution for reporting and support. You can opt out by deleting your account.

9. Termination

We may terminate your account for violating our terms, spamming, or using CVChackr for commercial purposes without authorization. Termination means data deletion and loss of access. No refunds are granted in such cases.

10. Limitation of Liability

CVChackr is provided "as is". We do not guarantee a job or interview. While we aim for accurate reports, we are not liable for resume rejection, job loss, or data loss.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction of Delhi, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. For major changes, we will notify users via email or on the website at least 15 days in advance. Continued use means acceptance of the new terms.
